Our Meth Decontamination Process
Pre-Remediation Testing (NIOSH 9111 Compliant)
We conduct wipe sampling of all surfaces — walls, floors, ceilings, window sills, HVAC registers, and high-touch areas. Samples are sent to a NATA-accredited laboratory for analysis. Results identify contaminated zones and quantify residue levels, allowing us to prepare a targeted remediation action plan.
Remediation Action Plan
Based on testing results, we prepare a formal remediation plan documenting all contaminated areas, the removal and treatment methodology, and the materials that cannot be decontaminated and must be disposed of.
Decontamination
Our certified technicians, in full PPE, systematically decontaminate all affected surfaces. Materials above the remediation threshold (plasterboard, carpet, soft furnishings, HVAC components) are removed and disposed of in accordance with EPA Victoria requirements. Remaining structural surfaces are cleaned with specialist chemical solutions formulated to neutralise meth residues.
